Thank You
The Crete park District is able to offer such a wide variety of recreational programs because of the assistance of our 201-U School District, Crete United Methodist Church and Crete Reformed Church. Many thanks to the employees and administrators who make it possible.
A Special Thank You
The Crete Park District would like to extend a special thank you to all of our volunteer coaches.

Welcome to the Crete Park District
The Crete Park District was established in 1957. The number of residents served by the Park District is approximately 7,500 plus numerous nonresidents from surrounding communities. Services include a variety of recreation programs, ranging from early childhood to senior programs. We have rental facilities and a variety of other recreational areas. We offer a variety of programs for your family needs.
The Crete Park District consists of five elected board commissioners that are responsible, among other things, for passing ordinances, adopting budgets and hiring the Park District Executive Director. The Executive Director is responsible for carrying out the policies and ordinances of the Board, for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Park District, and for appointing the heads of the Park District's departments. The entire success of the Crete Park District is based on the cooperation and teamwork of all of the employed staff and volunteers to our district. The Board is elected on a nonpartisan, at large basis. Commissioners are elected to four-year terms. Whatever your interest, Crete Park District has a program activity or special event designed just for you and your family.
We invite you to explore our website, check out what we have to offer and discover the benefits of parks and recreation!
Thank you,
Patricia Polzin
Executive Director
